My name is Kateryna Akhmadeeva, and I'm a Toronto based portrait photographer. I was given my first camera at the age of 11 by my grandmother, who was a portrait photographer as well. I'm a creative storyteller with an incredible imagination, and taking pictures is a way for me to express & capture my creativity. Photography allows me to translate my thoughts and imagination into something tangible. I would love to help make your photographic dreams a reality.

My friends call me Kat, but I'm really more of a dog person…I'm the middle child, I have 2 beautiful sisters and I'm a proud auntie…I made the switch to digital in 2009, love the "film" look, and believe that having a tangible product is important…I have a BA in Psychology and a Diploma in Dental Hygiene, which means I'm great with people and I know CPR…I love cars, watch Top Gear (UK), and dream of going around the Hammerhead and Across The Line behind the wheel of an R8 with the Stig by my side…I love coffee & chocolate, but really hate celery…Apparently I say 'Eh' a lot, but I'm only made aware of this when I visit our neighbours south of the border…
