Jan Zhou: an artist / fashion designer / lecturer, graduated from Columbia College Chicago, US. She used to work at Cynthia Rowley & Victor Costa in New York. In 2002 she launched her first collection "the second skin". At same year, she was selected as one of three emerging talents by Gen Art, New York, and participated 2002-03 Chrysler PT Studio program. Jan was invited to teach in Raffles Institute of Design Shanghai in 2007. Ever since, she has been running her studio, as well as teaching at the University. Her commitment to undergraduate education, the first-hand knowledge of fashion culture with over ten years of experience working with college students from diverse backgrounds make her an educator with much to share. She also has been honored with various international recognitions for her design and artwork.
