Ceramics unveils me the possibility of space creation, where I explore abstraction, representation and harmony, taking me to a better comprehension of space and ourselves. The dot, the line and the spiral, in the shapes as well as in the glazed surfaces, mirror the ideas of flow; movement captured to be appreciated.
My ceramic objects intend to awake a pause in everyday life, attract the sight, invite the touch; at the same time as they connect the other to itself and to the time being. Double and doubtful materialization of space. Meanwhile it intends to surprise and transform the movement itself, the ceramic is immobile physical form that stands still and brings within itself the memory of gesture in its processes, offering itself for a contemplative dive, whatever it may be: standing before an sculpture or holding a cup of tea.

Resume
Ceramic pots frame the emptiness, however it is through the body that we see the good ones, the gesture that it changes, the new daily arrangement that it causes.
Tactile poem that claimed shape, does not contain in itself a unique sense, offers space for appreciation and reinvention by the other.
In ceramics we recognize the perfumes of the land and of its ancestry.

Through sculpture I work with the idea of tridimensional composition, searching for balance and consonance.

My processes in ceramics pursuit meaningful ways regarding time. In a world full of virtual realities and fast solutions, the pleasure of clay work, as well as its technical difficulties and mandatory knowledge, connect me to the present, allowing a certain sense of order and a reflective character to the dynamicity of the procedures.

Being able to be a
facilitator in the process of learning and creation of ceramic objects through
manual modeling is one of my great achievements! Pinch pot, coil, the use of banding wheel, slabs, and their many
possibilities, are some of the techniques we may experience. But, in the
classroom, I especially seek to encourage the artistic possibilities through
this language.
Surrounded by trees, my studio is 72Km from the city of São Paulo, in Vinhedo. There I taught classes of hadnbuild, electric wheel, enamels, engobes, serigrafia, etc. I consider myself privileged to have a simple and inspiring space to work and get along with my students.
